Transavia baggage
Transavia hand luggage rules depend on fare and add-ons. Every passenger may take one small piece of hand luggage up to 40 x 30 x 20 cm and 10 kg, placed under the seat in front. A larger cabin bag up to 55 x 40 x 25 cm is included with Smart and Max fares, or can be bought separately with other fares; hand luggage and cabin bag together may weigh up to 10 kg.
Checked baggage can be bought in allowances of 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 or 50 kg, depending on route and fare. Plus includes 20 kg of checked baggage and Max includes 30 kg. The total checked baggage allowance may not exceed 50 kg per passenger, each piece may not exceed 32 kg, and each piece may be up to 165 cm by total length + width + height.

Transavia online check-in is available for many flights from 30 hours before departure. Depending on the departure airport, online check-in closes 4 hours or 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.
Airport check-in remains available when online check-in cannot be completed. Plus includes one small hand luggage item, 20 kg of checked baggage, a standard seat and no change fee for time, date or route changes made up to 14 days before departure, with any fare difference still payable. Max includes one small hand luggage item, one cabin bag, 30 kg of checked baggage, wider seat choice, Priority Boarding and, where available, Fast Track Security; changes can be made without a change fee up to 2 hours before departure, subject to fare difference.

Additional Transavia services may include a paid cabin bag, checked baggage, seat reservation, extra legroom seats, Priority Boarding, Fast Track Security on eligible fares or airports, pets, special baggage such as sports equipment, musical instruments, special assistance and child travel services. Most extras can be added during booking or later through My Transavia up to 2 hours before departure, unless check-in has already been completed.
